Update on Summer Football.

Hi All Schools / Teams entered in to Summer Football Term 4
 
Our start date for Term 4 Summer Football has now changed to Wednesday 24th November.
 
We will run for 4 weeks instead of 5:
 
Wednesday 24th November
Wednesday 1st December
Wednesday 8th December
Wednesday 15th December
 
The reason behind this is because unfortunately due to the new COVID guidelines the rules have changed on us since the last time we ran summer football, and we have now been told we have to split all our fields in to 3 different areas at A&P Park and have more staff set up in different areas to help guide players / parents to the right place, and we need to hire portaloos for each area/bubble of people to use. 
We have of course incurred some extra expenses to make this happen, and we didn’t want to increase the cost on teams, so we have instead decreased the competition by one week.
 
I know many teams have parent helpers attached to them so it would be great if you could please send us through a contact email list with as many parent contacts as you can, so it will help with getting communication out when I send out the draws and a map with all the fields showing which entrance way teams are to use, depending on which field they are playing on.
 
The main problem we have at the start of summer football is many kids/parents not knowing what team they belong to and they come to us to ask what team they are in, so if you can please contact all parents and let them know the team name their child is in, that would be a big help.
 
We will be invoicing for term 4 summer football to all schools in January, payable 20th Feb.
Most schools are entering in both terms 4 and 1 so we will be invoicing these together.  We also didn’t want to charge anything until the competition is complete, as we are very aware COVID has played a big part in cancellations this year so we don’t want to be charging and then refunding if things go bad and we get stopped part way through.
