We have the Year 3/4 Finals and prize-giving night coming up on the 22nd of August, tomorrow is business as usual with the draw online.
 
Please see below for an outline of the evening of the 22nd.
 

• 4:30 pm start
• HM SUPER CIRCUIT (FUN ACTIVITIES, 10min rotations)
• 5:15 pm Prizegiving
• 5:30 pm Lolly Scramble

You will stay in your teams for the super circuit so please make sure you wear your team uniform.
 
We look forward to seeing you all play your last games tomorrow and ending on a positive note on the 22nd.

Year 5-6
 
The end-of-season fun night and prize giving is coming up on the 23rd of August, with this Tuesday being the final games of the season (draw online)
 
The outline of the afternoon of the 23rd is

• 4:00 pm First Games start
• Parents V Kids (soft ball, HM will provide parents with sticks)
• 20-minute Games
• 5 pm Prizegiving

4pm Teams and parents (please be there no later than 3.50pm so we can organise everyone with sticks and onto their fields)

Summer Hockey, starts Monday 21st March. Please read the update below from Marlborough Hockey.

We are excited to return to the turf for another round of Interschool summer hockey. The draw is live online which can be viewed at http://www.hockeymarlborough.org.nz/competitions-1/drawsresults-1 (make sure you choose Interschool comp in the drop-down box)​

As we remain in the red setting there will be a few requirements which are outlined below.
 

• Only 1 Spectator per player – everyone must scan in
  
• Everyone MUST use the hand sanitiser upon arrival.
  
• Please arrive no earlier than 10mins before your game time ready to play.
  
• Upon arrival, players need to head around to the dugout side of the turf and stay beside your field you are playing on.
  
• Enter turf via dug outs.
  
• Exit turf via pavilion side.
  
• Everyone MUST leave the turf as soon as the game is finished– no congregating.
  
• Next teams cannot enter the turf venue until first games have vacated the turf.
  
• Spectators must stay beside their field and keep within their bubble.
  

This Saturday 14th August is the final day of the Fun Sticks Programme. Due to rep games and turf availability, we will be running Fun Sticks from 9am-10am.  There will be fun games followed by prize giving. 

​Just like that we are heading towards the end of the hockey season, not sure where the time has gone!! Please find attached the end of season plan for our Year 3/4 Players which is on Monday 23rd August and Year 5/6 on Tuesday 24th Aug. The Year 7/8 teams have their final games on Sunday 22nd August followed by prize giving.  Please pass this information onto your players and families.
 
We wish to also take this moment to thank you for your support over the season, without it we would not have had the amazing season that it has been.

Year 5/6

• Games are played on Tuesdays, beginning next Tuesday 11th May. 3.34-6.45pm.
• Due to turf availability being tight, please ensure your team is ready to go at your scheduled game time
• Please read the rules attached for this grade
• Coffee Cart will be there each night.
• Sam Hamilton will be there each week as a Hockey Marlborough employee, co-ordinating the competition and will be happy to help with any issues.

 
Year 3/4

• Games are played on Mondays, beginning Monday 10th May 4pm – 5.30pm
• Due to turf availability being tight, please ensure your team is ready to go at your scheduled game time
• Please read the rules attached for this grade
• Coffee Cart will be there each night
• Grace Calder will be there each week as a Hockey Marlborough employee, co-ordinating the competition and will be happy to help with any issues.

 
Fun Sticks

• Beginning on Saturday 8th May 10am-11am.
• Please be there by 9.30am to sign in.
