Sport Academy

​The RVS Sport Academy is designed to provide a comprehensive range of sporting opportunities both within the school environment and as extracurricular activity. RVS supports students in three different ways:

1. Through the curriculum
2. Through RVS organised sporting teams
3. Through regional sporting opportunities. RVS works with other schools and Sports Tasman to ensure our students have access to a variety of sporting prospects.

The Academy seeks to promote excellence in skills and physical abilities while developing character, social relationships and sportsmanship that reflect the Christian ethos of RVS.

Seasonal sports include:

• Summer soccer
• Netball (junior and senior team)
• Touch rugby (Term 4)
• Tennis
• Volleyball​
• Hockey

​Students may also participate in one day sporting events, such as cricket, tackle rugby and ripper rugby.

MARLBOROUGH PRIMARY SCHOOLS FESTIVALS
Marlborough Primary Schools arrange various festivals throughout the year of a cultural or sporting nature. Sports include athletics, gymnastics, cross country and duathalon. Parents will be informed when Richmond View School participates.
