School Rules
School rules are based on common sense, consideration, care for other people and respect for school property. Observation of the following points will create a tone of friendliness and cooperation:
In addition, the following specific rules are to be obeyed:
- Pray for and help each other every day.
- Let someone else go first.
- Say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’.
- Wear a clean, tidy uniform every day.
- Do all assigned tasks willingly.
In addition, the following specific rules are to be obeyed:
- Always walk, not run, in and around buildings.
- Students may not be indoors during breaks, except on wet days, when going to the toilet, or with teacher permission.
- The school is out of bounds between 8:20am and after 3:30pm, except with teacher permission.
- Students may leave the school grounds only when given permission by a teacher.
- No sweets, fizzy drinks, jewellery (other than watches and ear studs).
- All rubbish must be put into the bins provided.
- Students are expected to show respect for other people’s property, school buildings and equipment.
- Students may not leave the school wing or enter areas other than classrooms or toilets without permission from a teacher. The Church Foyer area is out of bounds to students without teacher permission.
- All clothing and belongings must be clearly named.
- Wet or muddy shoes may not be worn on carpeted areas. Recommended indoor footwear during wet weather and winter is slippers.
