Rangers AFC Muster
Rangers Football club is holding our football muster for the 2018 playing season on Saturday the 3rd of March from 10.00am to 12.00pm at A&P park. The muster is an opportunity for new players to register for the year and also for anyone interested in coaching during 2018 to show their interest. Returning players from 2017 will be able to register soon through the Rangers website. The season is due to start on Saturday the 7th of April. Due to the short timeframe for schools to organise and register teams, summer football will now start Wednesday 14th February. Please advise Mrs Wilson by Wednesday 7th February if your child would like to play. At this stage it is looking like RVS will only have one team, for age 7/8 year olds. Thank you to everybody who has already contacted me regarding summer football. I need to register the teams on Thursday next week, so if you would like your son or daughter to be in a team, please let me know as soon as possible. Numbers in a team are limited, and the Age 7/8 team is almost full! If you are able to help manage a team please let me know. Without a designated manager it will be necessary for each parent to be rostered on duty each week.

Rep basketball is a great opportunity to develop individual and team skills, while also providing a great opportunity to play teams from the Tasman and Canterbury regions. See below for our trial dates for u15 Boys, u15 Girls, u17 Boys, and u17 Girls. Anyone wanting to participate in the teams should attend each trial date. If you know someone that cannot attend a date, please send an email to [email protected] so that they may still be considered.
