This year Renwick Cricket Club are excited to share that Girls Cricket is up and running in Marlborough. Renwick Cricket Club have come on board to support our young girls and get them out there and having fun throughout Summer.
Following the growing popularity and promotion of females in Cricket, we are inviting girls to join us at our Muster Day to promote the game and boost interest in Cricket as a summer sport option. At this stage, Renwick are the only club to offer this to our young girls, we hope more will follow. We have a 5th Grade team which plays on Friday nights and we are also offering Girls aged 12/13 and above to join in the 4th grade team (mixed teams depending on numbers at this stage). This will give the younger girls a starting point to develop their skills and love for the sport, then our older girls the chance to build and grow their skills all while having fun with friends. It would be greatly appreciated if you could please share this in your newsletter or notice board for girls at your school to have the opportunity to come along on October 10th.
