AND RVS Lightning v Redwoodtown Juniors field 5 4.15. RVS Thunder v Riverlands Rebels field 5 5.15 Also, sadly there is no tournament for the Year 7/8 students as there weren't enough entries from other schools.
It sounds as if all the children playing football and touch this term are having a great time, even if things have been a bit disrupted by bad weather and earthquakes. Thank you once again to the parents who are managing teams. Parents, if your child's team doesn't have a manager please make sure you are at the game to supervise on the evening you are rostered on. This is the only way we are able to offer these sports opportunities to our children. Attached is the Junior Touch draw for this Thursday. Lansdowne Park is open but their may be a few potholes on the grounds where the liquefaction had to be dug out. Please ask all children to keep out of the old Grandstand- I will police this and ask then to move away from that area. In case of an earthquake all players are asked to drop and cover their heads on the fields. If we had to quickly leave the grounds I would try to get all players onto one field and then ask parents who are at the grounds to take their children. All others would stay with me until arrangements could be made to pick them up. It is important that all children know how they are getting home from Touch so please encourage all families to have this discussion prior to Thursday's games. As for the draw we are just carrying on as usual. There are a few schools on camp so I have arranged friendly games so all children can play this week. Please check the draw carefully.
