Term 1 Sports Sign-ups

Dear parents,  

There are many opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular sports after school during Term 1. This  letter contains a brief summary of the sports available and the days that they occur on. Full details, including cost,  will be made available on the Sports Academy page of the RVS website. Please check the website for full details before  you commit to a sport’s team. 

Please also be aware that not all Sports Codes have provided details of their competitions, so the website will be regularly updated as additional information becomes available.

All players and parents are kindly asked to read the Parent and Student Codes of Conduct, which can be found on the Sports Academy page,  Student and  Parent Codes of Conduct.

The role of the school is to facilitate creating teams, but each team will need a parent to manage them. Without a  manager it is unlikely we will be able to enter a school team. Please consider how you can help with team support,  and let me know. 

Please complete the Google form for each child that wishes to register for one or more sports. The form should be  completed as soon as possible, as teams will fill up on a first returns first, basis.  Last term there was the option to sign up for football in Term 4 2021 and Term 1 2022. If you selected this option, please complete the Google form again to confirm that you wish to continue in Term 1.

As we now enter college teams, we would like to invite parents (of any RVS school age child) to join an RVS social team and play alongside our senior students. There is an option to sign up for this on the Google form.

Vaccine Passport: Just a reminder that this is a requirement at all Marlborough DC Sports grounds and also at Stadium 2000.
