Welcome back!

A happy New Year to you all!  I pray the break and any family time you managed to get was valuable and enjoyable.  2018 already.... It is going to be a fabulous year, growing in His light together.  

I wish to welcome to RVS:

Kiri Johnson - She will be team teaching in Rm 6 on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday with Rob Elwood teaching on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Kiri is an experienced teacher who comes to us from teaching last year at Redwoodtown School.

Logan Brown - (See previous post)

Debbie Struthers - Debbie will be teaching on a Monday and Tuesday in Rm 1 with Ruby Roughton (nee Hunt) teaching Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  Debbie is an experienced teacher and brings much to RVS.  The Rm1 email contact is [email protected].

Ruby Roughton - Ruby, while a beginning teacher, has had teaching experience here at RVS in the past.  She has trained at Bethlehem Tertiary Institute and is an excellent practitioner.  

I am confident that RVS will be able to continue to partner with you, as it has in the past with these fine, Christ focussed teachers joining the team.  I also welcome back our fantastic remaining teachers, excellent teacher aides, slick office staff and our hard working BOT.  

I welcome particularly new parents and students and pray the RVS community embraces you quickly.  I will host a 'New to RVS' parent meeting in Week 2 to answer questions and help orient you around the school.  More information to follow.

Keep the evening of Thursday the 1st free for our 'Meet the Teacher Picnic'.  More information will come out on this shortly.

I look forward to see the students on Tuesday next week and getting back into the business of learning and growing.  What a privilege as a Christian parent to be able to partner with a school that teaches from/within a Christian Worldview.
