Keeping you updated

As we are well and truly settling into the school year, I wanted to take a moment to catch you up on some school news:

OUT OF OFFICE
Over the next few weeks I may be offsite as there is much work to prepare as we wait eagerly for the answer for the Change of Class. I've been working closely with members from the Ministry of Education and the Church. Should you need to get in touch, please don't hesitate to contact the office.

CHANGE OF CLASS
We ask that you continue to pray for the Change of Class application as it is in its final stages of the approval process. There is a lot of work happening behind the scenes here so that we will be ready to commence our first Year 9 class in 2019 (next year!).

PRAYER MEETING
Our school prayer meeting has changed to Monday mornings from 8:40am - 9:00am. We invite all from our school community to participate as you are able:

“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

 Matthew 18:19-20

AIR CONDITIONERS
Our Board Of Trustees remain committed to installing air conditioning into Rooms 3, 2 & 1.  We had endeavoured to book the installation of these in mid-January, however, companies were fully-booked for this period and so our new target for installation will be before the end of Term Three, in time for summer.

RVS FOUNDATION
We are still seeking members of our community who would like to help the RVS Foundation in their fund-raising efforts. The Foundation have some exciting initiatives planned for the year, but require willing and able volunteers to help see these to fruition.

EASTER SERVICE
We are really looking forward to Easter service which will be held on Thursday 29th March at Rarangi Beach. Just a reminder that you need to return the permission slip by Thursday 16th March.
