Great Start to 2019

Kia ora RVS Community,

A warm welcome back to RVS to you all.  We are well under way, the school alive with the sound of a vibrant learning community, refreshed after the break.  

We started the first day with a whole school assembly and welcomed our new teachers, Y9 students and 21 'new to RVS' students.  The video above, (thanks to Jess & Paul Jones Photography) was taken as a memento, a moment in time that will remind us of God's provision for us.  What a great day, the first day of Richmond View School as a full Area School (Year 0 to Y13).

The annual RVS 'meet & greet' picnic was well attended.  It was a wonderful, albeit hot evening spent getting to know one another and the teachers.  Parents were able to feel the effects of our amazing air conditioning as they moved through the classes.  

I wish to welcome our community to the official opening of the RVS Middle & Senior School and new Y9 classroom on Monday the 18th of February.  The Mayor will be in attendance and it will be an important, God-honouring morning.

May God continue to bless the families of RVS as the year moves forward.  May He continue to build this house.
