Room 5 Term 1 Assembly

I am so very proud of the young men and women in my class. We presented our assembly on Friday 8th April.

Those parents who were able to attend, were treated to a presentation that was well thought out and had many hours of hard work behind the scenes in setting up, editing and practicing.

We focused on some highlights of Term 1 and the children decided to report on the Yr8 Tramp and our contribution to the RVS 35 years anniversary. We also presented a new song to the school called "The Joy of the Lord is my Strength".

The students were given some broad strokes and a basic structure to work to. They chose their own areas of interest and wrote their own scripts. They worked together to make a combined power-point presentation including a video of some of the photo's from the tramp.
