The first of our two Orientation Days is coming up at the end of Week 3 November 3rd 2017. This day is primarily for testing but there will be a guided tour of the school and some games and getting to know one another activities also scheduled in. The day starts at 9.00am - please be at Marlborough Girls’ College and ready to go by 8.50am. Students will need to bring a blue or black biro, pencil etc. They will also need to bring a drink bottle, their morning tea and lunch – no canteen please. The day finishes at 2.30 pm. and arrangements to transport /collect students will need to be in place. Orientation & Testing Day Friday Nov. 3rd 9.00am – 2.30pm -

Hello all – below is a notice about Entrance Testing Day and Taster Day which has been sent by email to parents of all Year 8 students enrolled with us for 2018. A hard copy has been sent to those parents with no email address. Following is information regarding Entrance Testing and Taster Day for Year 8 Students enrolled at MBC in 2018. The next key date is our Entrance Testing which is to be held in the Marlborough Boys’ College Hall (Stephenson Street) on Friday 3 November. This day includes three tests over the course of the morning and orientation activities during the rest of the day. Students will need to be at the MBC Hall by 8:50am – meet in the foyer of the Front Office. The boys must wear their current school uniform and bring their lunch and snacks, drink bottle, sun hat/protection and a blue or black pen. The day will end at 3:15pm when students need to be collected by a parent/caregiver. Transport to and from the school is the responsibility of families. The Taster Day for year 8 students in on Friday 1 December and as part of this day there is the option for your son to travel to and from school on the school bus he will be taking next year. If you would like to use this facility, and did not indicate this on the bus form you returned when enrolling your son, please call the College supplying your son’s name and the name of the bus run he will use. On this day, the boys will need to be in their current school PE Uniform and bring their lunch and snacks, drink bottle, sun hat/protection and a blue or black pen.
