'Slide and Ride' and Secret Santa.

On Tuesday Room 4 will be having a privilege afternoon for all their hard work collecting, shelling and selling walnuts. We have already donated $20 to the earthquake appeal and we will also make a donation to Orphan's Aid.  This is a charity which Miss Hunt (our student teacher) is very involved with.
Students can come to school in P.E. uniform and can bring a bike, scooter or skateboard. They must have a helmet and closed shoes. Hopefully we will also have a water slide, so togs and a towel will also be needed.

Room 4 would also like to have a Secret Santa. A note came home last week advising parents of this, and giving you the option to opt out.  Gifts should cost less than $5 and can also be homemade. To remember the 'reason for the season' the organising students have requested that children include a short scripture.
Gifts should be brought to school by next Monday. If you have any questions about this please feel free to come and see me. :)
