Your child has put their hand up for choir this year and they have hit the ground running as they practise for the opening performance night of the new ASB Theatre on Friday 1st April (evening, time to be confirmed). They are practising four songs that were part of the Primary Schools’ Music Festival last year. If, for any reason your child is unable to perform, please let me know as soon as possible. The songs we are practising have been put up on our website on the Room 2 page for your child to be able to practise at home as well as school. Tickets are on sale now at the Civic Floor Pride Theatre and the prices are as follows: Adults $25 Children U 14 $12 Students U 18 $15 Seniors +65 $20 Family (2 A + 2 Children U 14) $64. Not sure if there is a booking fee to put on top of this. Children performing on stage do not pay. The choir will be having a rehearsal at the ASB Theatre on Wednesday 30th March @ 9.30am. We will need transport to and from the school and theatre and ask that you fill and return the slip below if you can help. I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome the new Choir Master, Mrs Reid, who has taken up the challenge of teaching and coaching the choir this year. Please offer her your full support as this is a new adventure for her. Looking forward to a fantastic performance, Blessings to you, Mrs Fransen and Mrs Reid. Choir rehearsal transport.
