On Friday 29 April, Mark from Transition Coaching is running a road cycling skills clinic from 3-5pm at Athletic Park in Blenheim. This session will be designed for Yr 7-13 kids who have little or no experience in cycle racing and will give them a step up in confidence and ability to do the Duathlon Series or cycle racing. During May and June, we intend to compliment this with a series of short road races (8-16km) to give kids a taste of racing a bike in an environment where they get a chance to learn and extend themselves without the pressure of having to race with adults. Doing races is the single best way to improve skills, fitness and speed. Please register here if you would like your child to attend. Cost is only $5. They will need a road bike, helmet, water bottle and appropriate clothing. For more information Mark on 021 533 635 Get fit, stay fit in 2016.
