Dog Safety Visits

Last Thursday and Friday the whole school had a visit from The Dog Control, (Maataa Waka) officer, Carol Schofield.  During tour class sessions we had the opportunity to watch a video explaining how to keep ourselves safe when we are around strange dogs. We also got the chance to meet Carol's dog and put the new skills we had learned into practice.
This opportunity links into our Health theme of 'Keeping Ourselves Safe'.
It was a 'howl' lot of fun!
