This week has been a week of firsts for the Pioneer group here at Richmond View School.
Wednesday was the first day - we celebrated with the whole school when we all assembled on the courtyard to have a photo and video taken by a drone! We got to meet each other and do some team building activities (as in the pictures at the bottom of this post). Thursday was our first visit to the Stadium for Physical Education. this will be a regular event for us every Thursday afternoon. this week was Futsal training in a very hot Gymnasium. Friday we launched into our learning and had our first online Language sessions. We have students taking French, German, Spanish, Korean, Japanese and Chinese. It is quite a sight and sound to behold. The biggest and most significant aspect of this week has been beginning to unpack the plans that God has for each of us. Our focus scripture this week has been: Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future". We have a fantastic group of young people in Year 9, all with a bright and prosperous future ahead of them. Thank you God, for the great start to the year. God Bless, Mr Adamson Comments are closed.
