On Friday Diana and Julie, from the Marlborough Falcon Trust came with Fern, the Falcon, for an absolutely fabulous visit! Room 3A and 4 joined together for this amazing experience. Julie taught us about the Falcon and its living and hunting habits. Diana came with Fern perched on her special glove and we watched in awe at how magnificent Fern was. After a brief discussion, Diana chose 10 students to hand feed Fern. Wow! Everyone learnt a great deal that day about Falcons and endangered NZ birds. We hope to visit the Falcon Sanctuary later this year. This will allow us to get up really close and personal to Fern as she is set free to swoop and soar across the Marlborough skies! Thank you Diana and Julia. Comments are closed.
