My name is Mrs Fransen and I'm going to be your teacher for this year. I hope you have had a wonderful break over the holidays and I look forward to all of your stories. I want to say a huge welcome to two new students to RVS. Mikayla and Allie are joining us in Room 2 and I know they will be made to feel 'at home' by our super friendly students. SwimmingNext week we have our swimming intensive and we are still needing more help with transport. Please see me if you can help. P.E.P.E. will be on Thursday mornings this term as we are trying to avoid being outside in the heat of the day. We will be joining with Room One and students will be able to come to school in their P.E. gear on this day. This will start in Week 3. Term ThemeOur theme this term is 'God at Work' and our devotions as well as all our learning will focus on God's hand in our lives and the world around us. This year RVS is embarking on becoming and Enviro School and our Topic work will involve looking at the history of RVS; our humble beginnings and where we are now, 35 years on. Yes, this year (on 7th March) we are 35 years old! This will take us on an exciting journey where by the end of it, we will be putting into action some of our ideas for our school grounds. Watch this space!!! Can't wait to meet my new class. Please come and say hello when you bring your child to class. P.S. Mathletics is up and running for the year so your child can use this wonderful resource. May God richly bless you and your family, Mrs Fransen Comments are closed.
